Jewish ceremony, olive trees and sea view

Alluring Puglia, a charming and customary tradition, pure love and happiness; all summed up in the exciting photographs of the day when Nicolas and Sonia’s romantic dream came true.

The setting is Masseria Santa Teresa, an ancient eighteenth-century estate located on the upland of Monopoli, Bari, in the heart of Puglia, where you can’t help but hold your breath when you catch a glimpse of the imposing ancient olive trees, the endless cobalt blue sea, the typical rural landscape and Apulian historic symbols, still very much alive today.

A few steps from Alberobello, Fasano, Polignano a Mare and their enchanting scenery, Sonia and Nicolas exchanged their promise of eternal love by celebrating with a traditional Jewish ceremony. Everything was memorable, from the signing of the wedding register in the presence of a rabbi and two witnesses, the exchanging of the rings under a canopy, the blessing of the wine glasses to the glass smashing performed by the groom (a symbol of the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem) and the celebrations which took place in the heart of Puglia’s history and nature.
